DEGREE IN THE ART OF CONCENTRATION 

You wished to concentrate the mind to solve the puzzle of 
who and what you were; to perceive the perfect Self, to perceive the 
eternal principle. Restraining the senses, fixing the mind only on the Self.
The Self can only be perceived by the mind used as a lamp. 
Perceiving the Self thus and being self-restrained, one understands the
immortal, the changeless, the indestructible. One understands the Self to which 
there is nothing prior and knows the Self to be uncreated, timeless and immortal.
Thus, having become farsighted, one has no attachment to actions or to things. 
One can say "I AM THAT" and "I AM THAT'. I am the eternal principle. 
Such a one is immortal.
We, having declared everything to you and having shown you the path,
understand that you had to take a Degree in the Art of Concentration.
Congratulations on perceiving the Self concentrated, 
grieving not, exulting not, casting aside old age and death 
and acquiring these things with increasing joy through the 
ART OF CONCENTRATION
